SportExpo 2026 in Verona will be held from Monday, March 9th to Sunday, March 15th at the VeronaFiere pavilions.

This year marks its 20th edition and will involve the entire city with special programs and side events.

The format gives children and young people between the ages of 5 and 14 the opportunity to try out over 50 sports.

The event will be held in various locations to ensure maximum participation.

Sport in the Square: Piazza XXV Aprile and Piazza Cittadella will host themed sports villages.

The mornings will be dedicated to schools, while the afternoons will feature lessons and performances open to all.

Neighborhood Playgrounds: Play and physical activity trails will enliven parks and neighborhoods, bringing physical activity to the home.

The Heart at the Fair
During the final weekend, the Veronafiere pavilions will become the hub of the event, where it will be possible to try dozens of different disciplines for free and meet with the federations.

Among the disciplines featured at SportExpo 2026 are soccer, volleyball, track and field, fencing, gymnastics, table tennis, basketball, climbing, baseball, softball, rugby, fishing, judo, karate, MGA, aikido, tennis, padel, sailing, aiki-jujutsu, parkour, skateboarding, vovinam viet vo dao, aerial gymnastics, skating, cycling, dance, badminton, and handball.

The goal of SportExpo is to enhance the relationship between sport and young people by promoting a healthy lifestyle based on physical activity and nutrition.

The individual events in detail:

March 9-12: Sport in the Square – Urban Sport. With Street Basketball in Piazza Cittadella and Street Soccer in Piazzale XXV Aprile;

March 9: Beyond the Podium – Conference: Training and Sport with the Milano Cortina 2026 Games. Verona – Verona Fair Conference Hall. From 8:30 am;

March 9-12: Playground – Physical Activity. Districts of the Municipality of Verona. From 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm. For girls and boys aged 3 to 8. Verona’s playgrounds will be transformed into spaces of discovery and movement for the little ones. Every afternoon, from 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm, sports playgrounds will be organized in various districts of the city: outdoor play and physical activity courses, designed to introduce girls and boys to sports in a simple and fun way.

March 13: School Fair – 30+ sports. 9:00 am – 4:30 pm. Day dedicated to schools. The Verona Fair opens its doors to children and young people from elementary and middle schools, offering them a full day of sports, discovery, and fun. Students will be able to try their hand at dozens of sports, guided by qualified instructors from local sports clubs;

March 14 and 15: Family Fair – 30+ sports. 9:00 am – 7:00 pm. Weekend for families and enthusiasts. Over the weekend, the Fair is open to all: families, children, youth, and adults can try out numerous sports activities for free in a dynamic, welcoming, and interactive environment.

SportExpo 2026 Verona: Where to Stay
